However, what makes this faceoff more interesting is that Max Strus was a former Heat member and got traded to the Cavaliers. As a result, he is familiar with his upcoming opponents as he used to share a bond with them in the past.

Bam Adebayo has been the driving force for the Miami Heat. The player is averaging 22.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per game and showing off his skill set. Today before going into the match in an interview when he was asked about facing his former teammate, his reaction to that became viral instantly. He said, “He sucks. Bad teammate. Terrible teammate. Never want him on my team again.”

He said that in a humorous tone and added, “No, it?s definitely great to have Max.”.?Now what happens in the match is anyone’s guess, but even if one player gets traded and goes to another team, his bond can remain the same with his former teammates as well. An example of this is the bond between Adebayo and Strus, no bad blood just healthy competition.

Even Strus has spoken about Adebayo in his early days at the Cavaliers to show respect for his former teammate. When he was asked about defending with Allen and Mobley’s combined presence, Strus expressed, “It makes my job easy. With guys protecting the rim like that, it just makes it easier to guard on the perimeter. Bam’s phenomenal at it as well, but JA’s probably the best in the league at protecting the rim”. However, now as their respective teams face each other, their competition starts as each athlete wants to attain glory for their franchise.
