In a recent tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter), millionaire rapper DJ Akademiks showers Kawhi with top compliments. Lil AK mentioned Kawhi Leonard to be a fair competition for influential rapper Drake. “I wonder who is Drake competition at this point in his career … They kawaii leonard. He more than Lebron.. he Michael Jordan”.

 

LeBron James and Michael Jordan have both come up in discussions surrounding the Canadian rapper-singer. LeBron has always been Drake’s strongest supporter and Michael Jordan has admitted to being a huge fan.

Los Angeles Clippers Kawhi Leonard is a silent player on the court. But his passion for music is making some noise off the court. His music album “Culture Jam” was a testament to how serious he is about music. The album features top names in hip-hop including Ty Dolla Sign, NBA YoungBoy, Lil Uzi Vert, and NLE Choppa. Kawhi served as an executive director of this project.

He also said at a press conference on May 4, 2021, that Culture Jam is a project that has always been on his mind for a long time and it is something that can uplift our community. He said that a portion of each stream will support the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation, a charity in honor of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.
