Dwyane Wade, former NBA player, talks about all the preparations he does before he goes into a game. The 3x NBA champion got all those with exactly that kind of precision and analysis. And if it comes down to knowing who ate what, when, how much, and more, Wade will do exactly what he needs to do to know that.
Talking in the Point Forward podcast episode, Wade reveals an example of this with the King himself. It is clear that he is very passionate about the game. Only when he understands every tiny little detail of a player, can he use them to his advantage and the team’s.

The reason that Dwyane won is that he was willing to go all the way to get that ring. The kind of religious adherence to the minute of details is what made these players brilliant. Wade says that one time he watched how many pancakes Bron was eating. “He got 7 pancakes today? Oh, okay, we gonna own the night!”
Apparently, Bron’s eating habits will make or break the night. This is just an example of the bigger picture that Wade was trying to tell us. Andre Iguodala is also in complete agreement with Wade. On-court chemistry starts off the court. When a player says they’re willing to do anything to win, it has to show in their actions.
Knowing each aspect of the person/player by your side is necessary if you have any plans to get a championship for yourself and your team. Wade says it best, “To have won championships, it’s details on the court, details off the court.”
Yup, this is what got the man his medals and trophies, so if this is one path to a winning career, then why not? On a lighter note, since Wade mentioned pancakes, why don’t we go back to LeBron’s sweet tooth?
LeBron James’s love for sweets makes you wonder where you went wrong
It is not because you went wrong anywhere. James is the King for a reason. And that status allows him to get the best that this world has to offer. Be it a celebrated chef or a trainer. Bron’s body is the work of his dedicated chef, Dena Marino and trainer, Mike Mancias.
When it comes to Bron’s sweet tooth, what many of us will remember is Tristan Thompson’s comments. Thompson had claimed that he tried Bron’s diet for a year and the result was weight gain. Well, pancakes doused in syrup, strawberries, four-egg omelettes and desserts with every meal will make you fat. Unless you are King James.

Talking to Business Insider in 2016, James told his pregame diet. “A chicken breast and maybe a little pasta. The carbs help because you’re going to out and playing a lot of minutes.” He also speaks about his workout routine, which is also strictly monitored and religiously followed. “My workout regimen is pretty much five times a week, every day … Sometimes I stay at home and work out. Sometimes I’ll go to an actual class.”
His recent post on Instagram is yet another proof of his dedication and determination. 21 years in the NBA and still looking “prime.”

So there you go. Bron can swim in sugar syrup and still dunk on someone. As Dwyane Wade said, it’s all about how far you’re willing to go to win. And King James will go to hell and back.
