Since the 33-year-old singer’s breakup, the Lakers star Austin Reaves’ name came to the limelight as her alleged new boyfriend. The 25-year-old was reportedly spotted at a bar with Taylor. In reality, none of it was true, so, the NBA star shouldered the responsibility of coming out to tell the truth.
The news initially befuddled Reaves, as reported by The Athletic. He stated clearly that he neither met nor communicated with her in his lifetime. The reports surrounding both of them were entirely built on lies.
He said, “Me going to a bar doesn’t happen much,” to expose the lies. He then jokingly added that if the reports were around them meeting on a golf course rather than a bar, they would have been more believable. All this calms down the noise around Austin as the star gears up for another season of top-level basketball.
