The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback agreed to a restructured contract that pays him a whopping $210.6 million through this year till 2026. As per the deal, the two-time Super Bowl champion will receive a staggering $52.65M annually. This is the highest deal any NFL player has signed for four seasons. The restructured contract has even surpassed the average salary of the NBA’s highest-paid athlete.

The 4-time NBA Champion Stephen Curry signed a four-year, $215.3 million deal, averaging $53.8 million per year. However, the star QB will earn $56.85M of base compensation in 2023 to the Chef’s base salary of $51.92M, a $4 million difference. This marks his second victory over the Baby-Faced Assassin. The NFL superstar started his career eight years after Curry and is already leading in terms of salary. However, the GSW guard is still ahead of him when it comes to net worth.
