While the 4x NBA Champion swung his golf club only for leisure, the recent on the course success prompted an NBA retirement question. Earlier, the media used to aim questions on pursuing golf after retirement, but now, they are asking if the Chef would retire immediately to pursue golf professionally.
During the 2023 NBA offseason, Steph was mostly seen on a golf course. He took part in several competitions with heavy media attention. Stephen Curry has been lately making waves in the golfing world with his participation in the American Century Champion tournament. Following his sensational swing, he went on to win the tournament on day 3.
Curry won the tournament with 75 points, only two points ahead of Tennis star Aaron Rodgers. Steph expressed his excitement amid the cheers of ‘MVP’ from the crowd. Moreover, he answered the million dollar question about his retirement.
When a reporter asked if he would consider retiring from the NBA and take up professional golfing, the room full of reporters burst into laughter. Steph replied, “Have y’all seen the CBA terms in NBA? Life is good in the league. I’ll be alright.”
