The Golden State Warriors will be facing off against the Denver Nuggets this Christmas Day. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have been in the zone lately but will that be enough to take down The Joker and Denver? The Warriors are already shorthanded playing without Draymond Green. Green may not be a big factor on offense, but his hustle, energy, and grit play a huge role on the defensive end of the floor. The Golden State Warriors seem as if they have had the wind knocked out of their sails this year. Despite acquiring veteran point guard Chris Paul to run the team’s second unit, Golden State is still struggling. Now, losing Draymond Green for an indefinite amount of time is another blow to the gut. However, there has been a silver lining among all the struggles that the Warriors have been facing this season.

It seems as if Klay Thompson has finally gotten his groove back and is producing big numbers on the floor. Moreover, the team has been leaning more towards their rookies to provide mettle on the court amid their struggles. Players like Brandin Poziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis have been two bright spots for the Warriors lately. Not to mention the additional time given to Jonathan Kuminga has paid off well.

If Wiggins ends up missing the Christmas Day matchup, then you can be sure that head coach Steve Kerr will end up giving his rookies some extra minutes on the floor. So, can the Warriors keep up their series of winning games?
