The Denver Nuggets are on fire! The first-seed team in the Western Conference only has a couple of losses in their name this season. They defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 111-108, in a rather tough match. The match, however, was in the NBA in-season tournament. And who else, other than Nikola Jokic, to step up in big moments? The Joker’s 32 points helped the Nuggets secure a last-moment win.

The Clippers, on the other hand, lost the sixth consecutive match. They are performing well, but the results are not favoring them. The newly acquired James Harden from the Sixers tried his best, but all in vain.

In a close match, Paul George was the highest scorer for the Clippers, and also in the match. He scored a staggering 35 points, with 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. James Harden, who was keen to make the Clippers’ ship sail, stopped at 21 points.

The Nuggets coach was all praises for his opponents and believes that the Clippers are going to bounce back. But at the same time, he is pleased that it did not come against his side.

“(The Clippers) are going to figure it out. I’m just glad they didn’t figure it out tonight against us,” said Malone after the breathtaking match. It seemed at a point that the match could go either way, and the star-studded Clippers team did all that they could. Hopefully, they will be back to winning. The Clipper Nation is desperately eyeing for that moment.

After the controversial James Harden trade, fans had mixed reactions on how he would fit in the team. He is not really disappointing the fans, but he definitely needs to step up.
