Dallas is suffering from injuries

With Luka rejoining the squad, there’s an anticipation that he’ll shoulder an even heavier load for the Mavs. The reason is that Kyrie Irving won’t be hitting the court due to a foot injury.

Despite Irving’s lackluster performance in the previous contest, shooting 3-10 from the field, his offensive prowess is still crucial for the Mavs. He provides the much-needed spectrum of offense the franchise has been lacking in recent years. It is sure that Dallas will feel Kyrie’s absence in his unique style of play and knack for disrupting defenses; especially in critical moments.

Adding to the challenges, Tim Hardaway will sit out his second game of the season due to back spasms. Moreover, Josh Green and Maxi Kleber won’t be available; due to elbow and toe injuries, respectively.

On another note, Dante Exum is ruled out for personal reasons, being the second player on the Mavs to feel the joy of welcoming his baby daughter into the world.
