In the 12 games that the Los Angeles Lakers played after their In-Season Tournament win, they have only won three. The Purple & Gold lost twice to the Minnesota Timberwolves in this period. But nothing comes close to the abysmal 96 point-performance against the Miami Heat last night. The pride of LeBron James – the Lakers seem to be spiraling downwards, and fast!

Disgusted by the latest development, Gilbert Arenas blasted Coach Ham and a select few players for their sad state. He pleads with the King or Savannah or even Rich Paul to get a trash bag and place it in the lockers of Cam Reddish, Taurean Prince, and Jarred Vanderbilt. They don’t even have to say a word.

Prince and Reddish scored 0 points, while Vando landed four points against the Heat. That’s what led to such outrage from Gil’s side. He doesn’t let Darvin Ham easy either, as he calls the Lakers head coach out. “As long as they on this team, that motherf***er with the bald head and bump going to keep putting they asses in the game,” he confirms. Arenas also calls Darvin a “sorry a**.”

The 3x NBA All-Star goes as far as to point out that Kevin Love, a veteran who has played for 16 seasons in the league, got 10 points in 28 minutes of game time. Arenas hilariously points out that he was unaware the 35-year-old was still in the league. “The fact that man still in the league and he gave you 10?! Come on man!” he exclaims.

The struggles that the Lakers are going through are concerning. And that’s putting it mildly.

LA’s struggles even with LeBron James posting All-Star stats are a major cause for concern

While Ham has chalked up the Lakers’ struggles to injuries, even he has to agree the excuse is losing its appeal. Many teams this season have gone from simply limping to a full-blown fractured state. But they are still trying to keep themselves intact with whatever means available to them.

As Gil pointed out, it seems like there is indeed some kind of a disconnect between the coach and his players, as per The AthleticThe reason is none other than the constant lineup and rotation changes. Gil’s Arenas crew hilariously compares Coach Ham’s recurring switches to pulling out names from a hat. The five names that come out are the lucky ones who start.

The Purple & Gold has had nine different starting lineups. With such difficulties in the team, the title is a long shot, but the Lakers’ playoff hoes seem slim as well. Can the coach and players find a middle ground very soon?
