Pat Connaughton recently attended?Dan Patrick’s The Dan Patrick Show where this ongoing debate became a point of discussion. The Milwaukee Bucks star highlighted the Golden State Warriors point guard as his all-time favorite. The 66-year-old Patrick contraindicated Giannis’ peer claiming, “Magic Johnson is by far the greatest point guard of all time.”

The host stated,?“He is not even the best passer on the team,” further diminishing the 35-year-old’s prowess. By definition of point guard, Stephen should lead the team in assists but that is not the case for the Warriors. “Draymond does lead the team in assists,” Dan pointed out before adding, “He is not a point guard. He is just a great basketball player.”

Patrick mentioned that Johnson could have dropped 30 points every game if he had wanted. He also pointed out that the four-time champion Stephen should be considered an anomaly. But that warrants a question.
