Damian Lillard‘s joining through the blockbuster trade boosted the Bucks. As one of the best teams on paper this year, the Milwaukee defeated the Sixers marginally in their opening game. However, the duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Dame caught everyone’s eye. Many already predicted them to be the 2023-24 NBA Champions.

Among those are the former NBA players going gaga over the Bucks duo at this point. One of them happens to be a former teammate of Greek Freak.

Jeff Teague is all praise for the Bucks. In a video uploaded by ‘Club 520 Podcast’, Teague opens up to his co-hosts on various aspects. Without delay he answers this season’s probable champions and finalists. He puts the Denver Nuggets in the finals along with the Milwaukee Bucks, the former getting dethroned though, in this case. Teague played alongside the Greek Freak in the 2020-21 season.

Having also played in the Boston Celtics in the same year before joining the Bucks, his co-hosts expected him to name them. Teague surprisingly did not take Celtics name, even if they have a good roster this year.

“I got Milwaukee winning,” said Teague. “Ain’t nobody gonna stop them, they are not going to stop.” It is evidently clear from his sayings that he is putting all his money on the Bucks this season.

Jeff Teague played his last season for the Bucks, after which he retired in 2021. He had a good time playing for the Eastern Conference heavyweights. Giannis once remarked jokingly in a post match conference about Teague’s changing clubs: “It?s just weird how in the industry that we?re in that seven, eight days ago, I was like trying to kill him when he was playing with the Boston Celtics. And now a few days later, he?s our teammate. It?s just weird.?

Teague expressed relief for not having to defend against Giannis’ dunks anymore. He said, ?I?m happy I can finally not be on the receiving end of one of?those?dunks.?
