Gradually, many players embraced streaming and invested effort into it.
Funnily enough, the most popular game streamed by NBA players was GTA V, where they would join and play on a roleplay server.
During the first month of players engaging in streaming, Twitch viewership experienced a notable 10% increase. Players such as Devin Booker, Alex Caruso, Paul George, Gordon Hayward, and De’Aaron Fox emerged as top streamers when the NBA season resumed. Both Booker and Caruso regularly took to Twitter to share updates about their streams; posting links to their sessions before going live.
