Despite a 6 ‘2 stature, Jalen Brunson has been a dark horse for the New York Knicks. Ever since his trade to the NY city, the star has been the centerpiece of the Knicks attack. However, the only drawback that the star often faces is the inability to get foul calls. Despite the harsh physicality against him near the paint, the refs seemed to have turned a blind eye to the play multiple times. Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau expressed his frustration after the Friday night loss.
In the post-game press conference, one of the reporters asked Thibodeau about the physicality directed towards Brunson and the lack of foul calls. He immediately snapped back with his frustration. He added, “What this guy’s going through’s ridiculous… He’s getting hammered time after time, and I’m just getting sick & tired of it. I watch it, I send it in…They’re fouls. Plain & simple. They’re fouls…Sick & tired of it.”

Moreover, Brunson himself seemed pretty upset about the situation. He asked the reporter to skip the question when he asked about the physicality.
