LeBron and Savannah celebrated their 5-year wedding anniversary in 2018. The Chosen One, notable for being a devoted and supportive husband, presented his wife with a thoughtful surprise on their anniversary. The LA Lakers star invited Daniel Caesar to serenade her with a private acoustic performance. LeBron James took to Instagram to share a glimpse of his romantic gesture. In the video, the Canadian singer is seen performing ‘Best Part’ from his 2017 album Freudian. The camera first panned to his wife, who was seen swaying to the melody. LeBron wrote,“@danielcaesar Thank you brother!!! You’re a real one forever. I owe u one“.

LeBron James and Savannah Brinson’s love story

Their love story is one for the books. The two were high school sweethearts before they tied the knot in 2013. LeBron was a 17-year-old junior at St. Vincent-St. Mary, while Savannah Brinson was a cheerleader and softball player from a rival school. LeBron first asked her to one of his basketball games, followed by a group hangout at Applebees. After the group dinner, King James ended up asking her out for dinner at Outback Steakhouse. Their 9-year love story blossomed into a happy marriage, and they now have three children together – Bronny, Bryce Maximus, and Zhuri James.

While in conversation with Sylvia Obell, Savannah shared anecdotes about how she knew James was “the one.” There were two incidents that solidified her belief in their relationship. One was when she left her leftovers in his car and he brought them back just so he could see her one more time. Another was when James called her during a snowstorm and asked her out for breakfast.

LeBron has always credited Savannah for his success. She has supported him through thick and thin and was there even when he had nothing. He delivered an impassioned speech at the Harlem’s Fashion Row gala. He said, “But in all actuality, Savannah was with me shooting in the gym when I [had] absolutely nothing.”
