During a recent interaction, an NBA player has spoken in praise of Trae Young, the NBA player who currently dashes through the court for the Atlanta Hawks.

Trae Young started his basketball career back in 2015 and by 2017, analysts considered him to be one of the top three best players out there, with an average of 34.2 points.

A first-time NBA Champion gives major props to ‘Ice Trae’

Michael Porter Jr., who won his first NBA championship this year, was in conversation with NBA analyst Taylor Rooks, and the conversation veered toward Trae Young. Rooks established that she’s a Trae Young fan.

She said, “I am a big Hawks fan. I am a big Trae Young fan. I feel as though Trae is a bit misunderstood by people. What do you think people should know about Trae?”

Michael, for his part, elaborated, “He is another one of those guys, who is just going to be himself, unapologetically. But like, he doesn’t want to play a villain role. He’s one of the nicest dudes and comes from a good family. He’s one of my best friends in the league. Also, underrated at this point. He led the league in points and assists, and then he wasn’t an All-Star. I am putting Trae up there with pretty much anyone. He has a crazy IQ. I think he’s one of the best passers in the league, that can shoot from the deep. I have played with him, so I know how good he is.”

The NBA has seen some of the biggest names in the business assist, dribble and hoop, including the likes of Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard, among several others.
