LeBron James is beginning his twenty-first season in the NBA. On this media day, he was as ebullient as he ever was. Yet he seems to be facing his challenges too. For someone who has never complained about the workload, or being ready for the big time, it could be just a funny remark. Or, he might be leaving a few breadcrumbs for us to follow.
As LeBron is gearing up to create more milestones, are the Lakers going to keep up with him?

LeBron is saying that it “feels a little different getting out of bed,” and he is not a twenty-one-year-old. Both are facts, but it does not make him any less lethal in his pursuit of titles and glory. Post their championship season, LeBron’s Lakers have lost that aura of invincibility. They have traded away some key pieces of that roster, like Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell Pope. And their experiment with Russell Westbrook, to put it mildly, was a colossal failure.
Everything was going south last season, until Rob Pelinka waved his magic wand and updated the roster. With a sudden resurgence, the Lakers competed in the Western Conference finals. Here they tasted defeat at the hands of the future champions, the Denver Nuggets. If the Lakers could build on from the last season, they would have consistent momentum. For that to happen, Anthony Davis should help LeBron, who is playing his twenty-first season.

It is not a secret that LeBron harbors a dream of playing with his sons in the NBA. And regarding that aspect, both his sons Bronny and Bryce are doing their pop proud. But the dream started with his elder son, Bronny, who had a major health scare recently. Bronny suffered a heart attack due to a congenital disorder. He was in training with the USC team when that happened. The eighteen-year-old can still fulfill his dream of playing in the NBA. Jeff Green went through a similar health problem before he made a full recovery. He is enjoying a superb career and won his first title with the Denver Nuggets last season.
According to the NBA experts, both of LeBron’s sons are talented enough to have a good career in the League. What remains to be seen is how soon they will take that giant leap? And what season number LeBron James would be when they would be in the NBA?
