The Philadelphia 76ers are on a victory spree. They defeated the Toronto Raptors by a huge margin of 114-99 in their last match. The fans chiefly consider this to be the James Harden saga, that led the players motivated. They also consider that the team is playing better without Harden. The Sixers are now the second-placed team in the NBA, with three wins and a loss.

Joel Embiid is one of the key players in the Sixers squad at this point. The MVP winner of last season is running fire on the court, just like last season. While the Sixers take on the Phoenix Suns tonight, will Embiid be available to take on Kevin Durant and co?

Joel Embiid is Available

The 29-year-old Cameroonian forward will be available tonight on the court. There are no reports of him being injured, presented by the Sixers’ management. The presence of ‘The Process’ automatically boosts the team’s confidence. His amazing throws resulting in three pointers, are a treat to watch.

In the previous match against the Raptors, Embiid scored a blistering 28 points, with 13 rebounds, and 7 assists. His teammates Tobias Harris and Kelly Oubre Jr. were present to help him by scoring important points. They both scored 23 points each.

On the other hand, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker led Suns will be desperate for win tonight after a consecutive loss against the Spurs. Booker, who was out for three matches, returned last match and showed a promising display. He can be a major threat in the Sixers’ path.

The Sixers Without James Harden

The dressing room atmosphere was evidently not very pleasing with the tantrums put by the ten-time All-Star James Harden. He decided to sit out on the entire practice sessions and miss out matches. Harden was finally let go by the Sixers’ management, to his dream destination, the Los Angeles Clippers. However, he is yet to make a debut for them.

Can the MVP Embiid sail the Sixers to their fourth NBA title? With his form currently, there is a possibility. But for that to happen, the whole team needs to step up consistently.
