Errol Spence Jr. has a name of his own. Having trained with the like of Floyd Mayweather, Errol has been in the presence of legends. However, the professional boxer seems to know his basketball pretty well too.

The bout between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford is something fans have been eagerly waiting for. And the hype and build-up around these two stepping into the ring has been pumped up to the brim.

Recently, Errol sat down with Chris Mannix of SI.com. Spence Jr. answered multiple questions, one of them being how it felt being the underdog once again. The 33-year-old boxer told the reporter that he used it as motivation.

He also gave the example of the San Antonio Spurs and Tim Duncan. Spence Jr. said, ?Just like in basketball with the San Antonio Spurs, they?re not really that appealing. Younger guys would choose Kevin Garnett over Tim Duncan because Kevin Garnett is more flashy, and he?s more easy on the eyes, but the Spurs are more just getting the job done.?

He even brought up Tim Duncan?s nickname and related to that. Errol mentioned that he too is fundamentally sound and that he prefers doing things by the book yet still manages to look good.

The vast difference between Duncan and Garnett

There is no argument for the fact that Kevin Garnett was a fierce competitor on the floor. One of the most intense trash-talkers in the league, Garnett was a problem in the paint with his athleticism and versatility.

However, Tim Duncan was a class apart. He was always the team?s silent leader who preferred to lead by example rather than being vocal. His game wasn?t flashy but was beyond efficient.
