Stephen Curry is a family man. Despite being one of the biggest superstars in the NBA, Steph spends as much time as he can with his family. However, the 4-time champion has also started pursuing his off-court passion for golf during his free time. He has solidified himself as one of the best celebrity golfers in the nation after winning the American Century Championship last summer. So naturally, Steph’s obsession with the sport has also increased with time.

The Golden State Warriors superstar made his golfing obsession evident after he enacted an escape from his wife Ayesha Curry’s chores and made a hilarious Titanic joke.

Stephen Curry posted a video on X collaborating with Full Swing, the licensed simulator of the PGA Tour. In the video, the 4-time Champion can be seen doing daily chores in his kitchen. He then asks his wife, Ayesha Curry, for 20 minutes off to play golf on the Full Swing simulator. As it turns out, Steph spends way more than the said time on the machine while Ayesha waits for him. The video then ends with a hilarious Titanic meme with an old Rose waiting for the love of her life, depicting Ayesha waiting for Steph while he plays golf. Steph captioned the video, “It’s never really “20 minutes” #FullSwingPartner”

Even though Steph’s video is promotional, it is not hard to believe that he spends a lot of time practicing his golf swing. The 2023 American Century Champion proved his mettle last year with an incredible golfing run. He defeated over 90 celebrity golfers to bag a $125,000 prize money in Lake Tahoe. Steph also broke the internet with some insane shots that would be impossible to make if he did not work on them regularly.

Curry became the recipient of the Charlie Sifford Award for his contribution to advancing the sport of golf.
