The Golden State Warriors lost a close matchup against the Sacramento Kings. A heartbreaking 124-123 loss suffered by the Warriors has some fans livid over head coach Steve Kerr and others are angry at Klay Thompson for his poor performance against the Kings.

The game between the Sacramento Kings and the Warriors was an absolute nail-biter. The final minutes of the game decided the outcome. But it was Steve Kerr’s poor decision-making that cost the Warriors the game.

Kerr made some poor choices late in the fourth quarter that led the Kings to make a comeback and win the game. One of those was the challenge that he made on a foul call, leading to a major backlash.

Even former NBA player turned reporter Kendrick Perkins did not hold back. He went on to X and posted, “Dumb a** challenge by Kerr.”

A three-point attempt by Stephen Curry was called an offensive foul as he stuck his foot out against the defender. Steve Kerr went on to challenge that call, which did not end up in his favor.

And since then, the Kings started to work on their comeback. Both team’s star players struggled from the floor, despite putting up respectable numbers for the game. Curry and Fox both had 29 points, along with Andrew Wiggins as well.

But the Warriors struggled with limiting turnovers as the team could not handle the ball well.

Kings win this In-season matchup

The Sacramento Kings played a good game that led to their In-season tournament win over the Golden State Warriors. Despite the struggles faced by De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk came off the bench to rally the team’s comeback.

He finished the game with 21 points, along with the team’s last five points that put them over the Warriors. Players like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson both struggled majorly from the field and beyond the arc.

Plus, the decision to take out Moody from the game did not win any points for head coach Steve Kerr either. Fans will have to wait to hear from Kerr after this disappointing loss they took at the hands of the Kings.
