The Golden State Warriors failed to defend their title in the last season and fell short in the playoffs. The Dubs barely stayed afloat in the regular season as well. Even though the team missed Stephen Curry for the majority of regular season due to injury, they lacked camaraderie. Especially after the Jordan Poole-Draymond Green issue in the 2022 offseason. A year after the nasty incident, fans picked on Steph for another issue surrounding DrayMagic, as reports suggested another bad relationship inside the locker room.
In 2022, a video of Green punching Poole at the Warriors training camp surfaced internet and went viral. Ever since the incident, both teammates rarely interacted on the court, and it certainly impacted Poole’s performance in the playoffs. He produced an underwhelming average of 10.3 points in the postseason considering his regular season record. However, the Dubs surprisingly swapped the 24-year-old for Chris Paul in the off season.

The Warriors created waves in the NBA world with several high-profile trades in the office. On the other hand, when Draymond Green refused to re-sign his annual contract, fans expected the power forward to quit his 11-season-long service with the team. However, the team signed a fresh 4-year-contract with the star for $100 millions. At the same time, some sections of the Dubnation seemed unhappy with Green’s return to the roster. Incidentally, a recent report on Green’s alleged bad rapport with Jonathan Kuminga further infuriated the fans.
According to Monte Poole, a senior NBA reporter, Green doesn’t have a relationship with Kuminga. During an interview with 95.7 The Game, he said, “[Draymond-Kuminga] is a problem and it can only be fixed by Draymond… But around the league there are a lot of people saying ‘I don’t know.'” He also added that the front office believes that Green can fix it but the NBA world doubts it.
Meanwhile, disappointed with the report, fans blamed the front office for extending Green’s contract. One user said, “This Draymond Green extension looking worse and worse every day. And it reeks of a lack of accountability.”
Curry blamed for the Green-Kuminga issue
In response to the report surfaced on Twitter, fans swarmed the comments, blaming Steph, accusing him of lack of leadership. One user said, “Curry is a terrible leader how bout he step up and say sum to draymond.” Here are some reactions from fans.

This Draymond Green extension looking worse and worse every day. And it reeks of a lack of accountability.
It's funny too because I keep hearing how much of a "leader" he is.

On the other hand, some fans defended Steph, explaining his role in the roster compared to Green’s leadership role.
This is the wrong frame. Curry is a phenomenal shooter, and player, and overall scorer. Draymond is the leader. No way around it. Draymond the word, and if he doesn’t want JK for a reason, it’s probably cause he is the best talent evaluator on the dubs. Let’s be real here. Dude…

I believe Draymond will turn his mentor skills around.
He’s talked about being better.

However, if the rumor is true, it will surely impact the Dubs run in the upcoming season and Steph’s chase for his 5th ring.
