The Phoenix Suns are trailing by 20 points against the San Antonio Spurs at half-time. A Victor Wembanyama show has put the Suns in the backseat. The home crowd is evidently disappointed at the Suns’ substandard display.
Devin Booker, along with Kevin Durant, and Grayson Allen are sparkling some hopes as of yet. Durant and Allen are the highest scorers for the Suns, with 13 points, whereas Booker scored 10. The rookie Wembanyama is stealing the show with 20 points from the other end.
With this, the rookie sensation puts a full-stop to all the criticisms that were hurled towards him.

Devin Booker Scoreless in First Quarter
One of the most reliable players in the Suns squad, Devin Booker scored zero points in the first quarter. Especially, in a much-anticipated match like this, Booker’s performance is making the news.

Though he got only 5:09 minutes in the first quarter, him not scoring in it is a rare scenario itself. In an X (formerly Twitter) post shared by the ‘Burn City Suns Talk’, the astonishment is visible. Booker scored zero points in the first quarter at another instance, but that too after 202 games.
Fans on the other hand, reacted hilariously as they praised Wemby and did not leave a chance to dig at KD, Booker, etc.

Spurs Victory Over Suns
Devin Booker however, made a comeback after the first quarter, and put up a good display. He scored 31 points, with 9 rebounds, and 13 assists. Even after making such a massive comeback, he could not win the game for the Spurs. He was well accompanied by Kevin Durant, who scored 28 points, with 6 rebounds, and an assist.
