2016 NBA champion Kyrie Irving has been on some of the biggest teams around the league for the past few seasons. Naturally, he has amassed a huge salary during this time, which has helped him to a $90 million net worth. Currently playing with Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, Irving is signed to a massive 3 years $120 million deal which makes him one of the highest-paid players on his team.
Interestingly, despite this huge salary with the Mavericks and other endorsement deals, Irving is still ranked below a free agent when it comes to the highest-paid point guards ever.

Contrary to previous basketball generations, point guards are now paid relatively well. With the advent of time and teams realizing the importance of having good floor generals, some of the best point guards in the league earn fortunes.
Leading the way is Golden State Warriors‘ latest signing, Chris Paul. However, his Warriors counterpart Stephen Curry is soon set to take over his place with a couple of max contracts on the way.
Interestingly, 2016 NBA champion and former Rookie of the Year, Kyrie Irving, ranks quite low in the rankings. He is the 7th highest-paid point guard in NBA history with $236,774,149 in career earnings.
Free agent and 5-time NBA All-Star John Wall surprisingly rank really high on the list. He takes the number 4 spot on the list ahead of names like Kyle Lowry and Irving according to hoopshype.
He earned the second-highest salary in the league during the 2021-22 NBA season while playing for the Houston Rockets. The 32-year-old earned $44,310,840 during that season despite sitting out of the games.
