NBA players are some of the highest-paid professionals in the world. The league’s widespread popularity and the substantial financial rewards contribute to making NBA athletes among the most sought-after individuals globally. The personal life of a high-profile NBA athlete can get tricky sometimes because of this.

Recently, Denver Nuggets star Aaron Gordon spoke about his dating life with Michael Porter Jr. on his podcast. He recounted a hilarious and peculiar dating experience that left his teammate in splits. A former NBA star also chimed in by calling it the “window shopping” experience.

Aaron Gordon recently made an appearance on his teammate Michael Porter Jr.’s podcast, Curious Mike. During a conversation, Gordon recalled seeing a woman who had googled his net worth before they were on a date. He said, “We went on a date, I got to the spot. We were just sitting at the bar, waiting for our table. She open up her phone. The last thing she had on her phone was Aaron Gordon’s net worth.”

Although this might come as a shock to regular folks, it didn’t surprise former NBA players Chandler Parsons and Lou Williams. Williams remarked, “This is normal”. Whereas Parsons said, “I don’t know why he is surprised.” He also added, “It’s called window shopping…If we google her, I’m sure that’s not her first NBA date.”

This behavior is nothing new for superstar athletes because of the fame and status they hold in society. Nevertheless, Gordon would like to forget this awkward dating episode and focus on his basketball. Last season, he became an NBA champion with the Denver Nuggets. His defense and slashing abilities were crucial in the Nuggets’ triumphant 2022-23 season. The Nuggets would aim to win another NBA title and establish their dominance over the league this season as well.
