It has been 5 years since LeBron James ditched his hometown team, Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Los Angeles Lakers. However, his loyalty to his hometown has not wavered yet. The 38-year-old is still a loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns, the team he grew up supporting since childhood. Hence, Burrow’s career-low delighted The Kid From Akron.

Cleveland Browns took on Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals on opening night of the 2023-24 NFL season. The game that was expected to be a thrilling encounter ended in a very surprising manner. The Browns blew out the Bengals 24-3, much to the credit of the Bengals’ star quarterback, Burrow’s underwhelming  performance.

LeBron James shared the Browns’ post of this very victory on his Instagram stories to celebrate. While James and the Browns rejoiced their victory, Burrow had a lot to introspect upon.

Burrow had a disastrous opening night where the chaos began early in the game. The first half witnessed Burrow complete just six out of 14 passes for 36 yards and zero touchdowns. He ended the game completing only 14 out of 31 passes for 82 yards, with a passer rating of 52.2. Naturally, Burrow’s opening night disaster came in James’ interests.
