What more could a coach want than his star player bouncing back from an injury. De’Aaron Fox has pulled that very miracle for his team and his head coach. He was instrumental in making Coach Brown’s career reach a spectacular milestone. Swipa?had not figured out what he had accomplished at that point. So he was mildly surprised when the honor usually reserved for the players went to the coach.

The team gave their star another shiny honor to commemorate his big moment. And Fox didn’t skip the chance at making the 53-year-old coach look like the dad who can’t pose for photos.

De’Aaron Fox wins the crown for Coach Brown

De’Aaron Fox made up for a two-week absence by leading the Sacramento Kings to a 132-120 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Not only was it a big comeback for him, he also secured the 400th career victory for head coach Mike Brown. That ankle injury that kept him out for multiple games looked non-existent as he made 28 points and six assists.

After the game, the players gave Coach Brown the game ball. It caught Fox off guard and made him inquire, “Why’s he grabbing the ball? What happened today?

When he was told it’s the coach’s fourth century of wins, Fox thought why stop there. “We want to keep that number growing,”?he said in the post-game conference.

The Kings outperformed every expectation. Domantas Sabonis was right behind him with a 23-10-9 record. Keegan Murray, who Fox hailed after the game, made a season-high 25 points with five 3-pointers.

The game, though, belonged to Fox. Until the end, when it was all about Coach Mike Brown. And the Kings have a signature way of honoring the star of every game. Coaches are no exception.

Fox was asked if Mike got the crown. “Mike did get the crown today,” Fox confirmed. “The pictures are gonna be great… He asked us what should he do. He was like, ‘do I do it like this?’ It’s gonna be great.”?The Kings released the following picture and it didn’t disappoint.

Brown is on the throne, with the crown, and the game ball. They’re all showing off four fingers to signify the 400th milestone. The coach didn’t have to worry about the pose at all. The natural rizz is doing all the talking in this team shot. He should prepare for the next milestone the Kings are going to secure him.
