The new executive made some drastic moves right off the bat. But now, another addition is happening in the Stephen Curry’s camp gearing up for the upcoming season.
It was a hard pill to swallow for many to see Bob Myers leave. The former franchise member is being credited for grooming the likes of Stephen Curry and other Dub Nation’s stars. The Warriors are now planning to bring another familiar face to the front office.

Bob Myers was credited with helping the Golden State Warriors transform into a dynasty. Myers played a crucial role in drafting Stephen Curry, the other half of the Splash Brothers duo, Klay Thompson, and their defensive leader, Draymond Green.

Chuck Hayes is a former NBA player who played in the league for 11 seasons. His most formidable years could be considered as his time with the Houston Rockets. Hayes played the role of a backup center to the Rockets legend, Yao Ming.
An undersized 6?6 center/forward, Hayes never backed out from any situation. And it is the same resilience he plans to bring to the Warriors front office.

A strong resume for Hayes
After the departure of Bob Myers, the first move their new GM made was to trade away Jordan Poole and bring in Chris Paul.
It was dismissed as a drastic move receiving mixed reactions from fans.

As for Chuck Hayes, he spent seven seasons with the Rockets working up from the role of Pro Player Personnel Scout to Assistant Director of Player Personnel. He also had a year of front-office experience with the Denver Nuggets as well.
