Memphis Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant faced a lot of backlash on social media for flashing firearms. Numerous NBA legends and analysts went on to discuss the situation while some offered their advice. Dwight Howard has now joined the fray.
Recently, Howard appeared on Math Hoffa?s YouTube channel. The three-time Defensive Players of the Year went on to speak up on Morant?s situation.??I don’t know him [Morant] personally,” he said.?”I would love to speak to him about the situation. But it’s like I feel like he has so many people trying to reach out and speak to him. And it’s like he probably needs a chance to just chill. Like, be still 23 years old. Like just imagine being 23 with 200 M’s just from the NBA only, 200.?

The 6?11 center said, ?If I was to tell him I would say, ?Man I know it’s tough I know you want to do this but that character that you want to portray to the world, leave that at home. You got to be this character even though it’s hard you got to play this role, be this character. Because this is going to set you up for life. That’s gonna set you up for everything that you want. To keep this character at home and it’s also going to keep you safe.?
