The Los Angeles Lakers were up against the Portland Trail Blazers for the night. Anthony Davis’ loaded Lakers did make a show after winning the game, 107-95. The Lakers are 7-6 in the league and No. 7 in the Western Conference. While the Lakers displayed their prowess after the last loss against the Sacramento Kings, Portland suffered their sixth consecutive defeat tonight.

While Anthony Davis was on the ‘probable’ list for tonight’s game, the player took the call to go full-throttle and hand his franchise a marvelous win. With 107-95, LeBron James and Co. flexed their dominance.

In a post-game interview, head coach Darvin Ham made a statement about Davis and his selfless behavior that helped the franchise tonight. Ham said, “You know he is a prideful young man, and we appreciate him. You were trying to make himself available at all times.” When answering the question of whether the player will be available for the next game against the Houston Rockets, Hams put the onus on Davis. The head coach said, “You know, only he can answer that question. Is he good to carry the load that he is carrying?”

The Brow sustained a hip injury and was listed as probable for Friday’s game. However, ‘Underdog NBA’ broke the news on Twitter just 4 hours before the game that Davis seemed to be in ‘play’ mode. Davis amassed a total of 16 points, 14 rebounds, and 2 assists in his 35 minutes on the court.

The All-Star big man sustained a hip spasm in his left abductor in the first half while playing against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.

Although the player had been managing the hip tightness for a week now, the loss against the Kings was a team fallacy and can’t be blamed on a single player.
