He was even invited to play in this year’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. However, Brown claimed the NBA uninvited him due to his history of domestic violence disputes. “I was asked by the NBA to play in the All-Star game this year! Only for them to call later and say they couldn’t do IT because of their sponsors like RUFFLES. At this point, I’m sick of people bothering me.” Brown recently said on Instagram.

He also shared several screenshots of the NBA inviting him to the 2024 All-Star Weekend. The NBA and RUFFLES later denied any involvement of the sponsors in the roster selection. Had Chris Brown been allowed to play in the All-Star Celebrity Game, he could have stolen the show just like he does during his live performances.
