The Milwaukee Bucks were handed their first loss of the season at the hands of the Hawks. The entire Atlanta roster seemed intent on not picking up their third straight defeat. While the performance of Trae Young and Co was commendable, what was more concerning for Bucks fans was the showing from Damian Lillard.
Lillard had one of the worst nights of his career in his second game in a Bucks jersey. So, that raises the question, will Dame Time be back in form to face the team he wanted to play for? The Miami Heat will face Milwaukee in Fiserv Forum tonight.?

The Milwaukee Bucks lost a 127-120 game to the Atlanta Hawks. While Trae Young tallied 20 points and 11 assists, it was purely a team effort to defeat one of the fan-favorite teams in the East. With Khris Middleton out of action, the responsibility on offense came down to the Greek Freak and Damian Lillard.
While Antetokounmpo came to play, the same cannot be said for Damian Lillard. Giannis Antetokounmpo had another healthy game with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Lillard had an abysmal night against the Hawks.
He finished the game with a mere 6 points, shooting 2-12 from the field and 2-8 from beyond the arc. Lillard had 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals for the game as well.
But what was even more concerning was his 6 turnovers in the 29 minutes that he was on the court.
After such a night, it raises eyebrows as to whether Dame will be able to shake off such a poor performance when the team faces the Miami Heat next.

An important matchup for Lillard and the Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are going to face off the Miami Heat in their next game. This game holds value for both Lillard and the Bucks team. Lillard had specifically requested a trade to Miami from Portland this offseason.
And the Bucks, who were the number one team in the Eastern Conference last year, were knocked out of the playoffs in the first round at the hands of the Miami Heat. So, it will be interesting to see the performance put up by both Lillard and the rest of the Bucks squad.
