Damian Lillard Showcases Killer Speed as He and Giannis Antetokounmpo Set to Make Their NBA Pre-Season Debut Against LeBron James’ Lakers

The NBA Preseason has hit the halfway stage and the Regular Season is inching closer than ever. Amidst these fast-paced changes, fans are still waiting for some big superstars on the floor. And the joyous Bucks fans are going to receive their fill soon. Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are set to step on the Preseason stage now. The two are vigorously preparing during the training camp. Once they hit the floor, fans can see their domination straight-up.

As Lillard and Antetokounmpo join the team, the Bucks players look in terrific touch. How will they perform when they take the floor against LeBron James and the Lakers?

Damian Lillard can have a mesmerizing Bucks debut

The Bucks franchise made a huge splash a couple of weeks ago. They brought Damian Lillard and paired him with another superstar, The Greek Freak. Fans have taken to the streets and celebrated his arrival. Now, their joy will be multiplied when they will see their new Point Guard in action.

And during the Training camp, he is looking in the usual crisp take. In an Instagram reel by NBA Latam, the team is in practice mode.  In the initial cut, we see Giannis Antetokounmpo and then the camera pans to Damian Lillard. Then Antetokounmpo makes a left-hand dunk. The video returns to an upper-body cut of Lillard. Following that, Khris Middleton makes his customary corner jumper. Then the video cuts to a smiling Brook Lopez, who is making a long-range jumper in the next shot.

After that, Lillard showcases his killer speed and incredible first step. He takes the ball in the lane and finishes a tough And-one. Following a Nwora thunderous slam, Dame Time is nailing a three-point jumper. The video finishes with Cameron Payne making a three, much to the delight of his teammates. The final cut is Antetokounmpo, rallying his troops and pumping the practice with intensity. 

Is the Bucks team going to cook something special?

A huge test for the Bucks and the grand duo

The Bucks sacrificed Jrue Holiday to get the incredible sharpshooter. The defensive phenom was vital during their 2021 title and has been their most consistent player. His absence can take a toll on the defensive end. However, Dame is sure to fire up the offensive end. After giving up such an integral part of the core, the Bucks will expect Lillard to up his game further. Antetokounmpo is waiting to sign an extension because he wants the franchise to build another championship team around him.
