LeBron James has dominated the NBA for over two decades. And King James has influenced millions of basketball fans throughout his career. Even at age 38, the 4-time champion is playing like one of the best basketball players on the planet. He is averaging 25.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists this season, leading the charge for the Los Angeles Lakers.
So, when rapper DaBaby was asked for his list of Top 5 players in the NBA, he showered all the praise on King James and even vouched to learn a different language for him. DaBaby also picked veteran Warriors Center Draymond Green in his Top-5 list.
DaBaby?s Top-5 NBA players

DaBaby was a guest on the Club Shay Shay Podcast hosted by NFL legend Shannon Sharpe. When asked about his list of Top-5 players in the NBA, DaBaby put LeBron James on top of his list, ?If he go play for Russia, then I?m trying to learn the language.? Shannon, being one of the biggest LeBron fans, was ecstatic with the Charlotte native?s response. The rapper further added the names of Damian Lillard, Stephen Curry, and surprisingly, Draymond Green to his Top-5 players list. ?Draymond, that?s my boy,? DaBaby said. Even though Draymond is one of the best defenders of this era, not many people would put him among the Top-5 current NBA players. So, it was a shocking pick from DaBaby, and some of it was because of his relationship with Draymond.
DaBaby got confused while picking the last player on the list. He chose 2-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and 2016 NBA Champion Kyrie Irving to finish his list with one extra player. DaBaby has good personal relations with several NBA superstars and did not want to offend anyone with his list.

It is difficult to choose the Top-5 players in today?s league
Even though DaBaby had a solid list of his Top-5 players in the NBA, there are a lot of superstars he snubbed from his list. The rapper did not even mention players like Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, and Joel Embiid, who are wreaking havoc on the league this season. That just goes to show how much talent the league has at the moment. It is difficult to name the 5-best players in the NBA, and every person will have a different opinion on the topic.

From veteran players like LeBron, Steph, and Durant, to young rookies like Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren, the league is full of generational superstars. It is a great time to be a fan of the NBA and witness the best players in the world on a nightly basis.
