The NBA-verse is gearing up for the return of LeBron James into the basketball court. While there’s still some time to go for that, his son Bryce James is capturing all the media attention with his court exploits. He’s not just playing, but winning with the son of one of his father’s ex-rivals.
Bryce James has been playing on the court at the Nike Tournament in Las Vegas. He and his team are pitted against some of the most talented players in their age group, and the results are heartening to any true-blue NBA fan.

Bryce James is currently playing with Strive for Greatness at the NBA Tournament in Las Vegas. He and his teammates are facing the competition with their incredible talent and hoop skills. They have now defeated Phenom United with a dominant streak marked by a score of 74-68.
And on that team, giving able support to Bryce James was none other than Kiyan Anthony, son of the former Portland Trailblazers player Carmelo Anthony.
The two impressed NBA fans with their gameplay against a team that had talent stacked up. They played against the Phenoms United, which also had Daryn Peterson and Jalen Haralson. Both of these basketball players have impressed basketball fans with their moves on the court.
Seeing James and Anthony on the court together might remind NBA fans of the LeBron James-Carmelo Anthony rivalry from back in 2001 when they both met first at a developmental camp.
James and Carmelo entered the NBA draft together in 2003 and have donned various team colors since then.
Another SonRise in Basketball
Bryce James has been active in basketball for a while now. Standing 6’3, he is already taller than some of the active NBA roster members, like Stephen Curry, who stands just a shade lower than 6’3.
James Jr. primarily plays the shooting guard position in basketball. And father LeBron James has been quite supportive of his son’s career, even coming down to the Nike Tournament to give pointers to his son and his team a while ago. With LeBron James at his side, Bryce is on the right path to achieving his NBA dreams.
Twitter-verse had things to say about the younger James. One of them thought Bryce was gearing up:
