Apart from being a generational basketball player, Steph Curry is an entrepreneur, too. The Curry Brand is indeed a renowned one out there, and people look up to its products. He also launched the ‘Eat.Learn.Play’ foundation with his wife, Ayesha Curry. It aims to provide children with basic needs, i.e., education and a place to live. The foundation also nurtures them to where they’re ready to get into the world of sports.

Michael Jordan and Nike introduced the Jordan brand in 1997, and there has been no turning back for them. The brand has successfully collaborated with superstars and is still doing so. Steph Curry always had a cordial, off-the-court bond with De’Aaron Fox. But he was taken aback when Fox found the Curry Brand shoes comfortable and eventually signed him to his brand. In a Spotify podcast with Dalton Johnson and Monte Poole, Curry opens up about many factors.

“It is remarkable what Jordan brand has done over the last 20-30 years,” said Curry, drawing motivation from the Jordan brand. He went on, “That was the biggest surprise when a current athlete, you know signing under Curry Brand, is a huge surprise but a good icebreaker for us. There’s obviously the competition on the court, you know, just the healthy way we approached it.” Fox’s signing is genuinely a good head start for Curry’s brand. It resembles the fact that it is competition-ready.

While doing that, he also tried Curry Brand’s shoes and found them comfortable. “Obviously, they knew that I love the product, and the relationship kind of started building from there,” Fox told the media.
