The Orlando Magic have been on fire this season. The young squad is currently seeded 5th in the Eastern Conference with a 43-31 record. The Magic continued their impressive form tonight as they blew out the Memphis Grizzlies 118-88 at home. Their star point guard Cole Anthony was hyped following the win and turned fashion police on Live TV after hearing a bizarre stat about Magic legend Bo Outlaw.
After Orlando beat Memphis, Cole Anthony got interviewed by former NBA star Bo Outlaw. Cole was shocked to find out that Bo hit only 3 three-pointers in his 15-year NBA career while the 23-year-old made 5 threes tonight. Anthony remarked, “Wait Bo, that’s it?” The point guard continued to double down on the jokes as he gave a shout out to the Magic legend for wearing a regular-sized suit to the show. Anthony said, “I am used to seeing the oversized 2000s jacket.” Bo was taken aback by Cole’s comment and hilariously reminded him that they were on National TV.

Anthony revealed he was surprised to see Bo in a new avatar before the game, “Hold on Bo! What’s the occasion?” Bo’s preference for wearing baggy suits probably comes from his time as an NBA player. He played in the NBA from 1993 to 2008, and 8 of those seasons were for the Orlando Magic. Although Bo caught strays from Cole Anthony for his handful of three-pointers, he could not have done much in that department because he played the Center position. And his era was way before big men started taking shots from beyond the arc.

The Magic have not won a playoff series since 2010 when they reached the conference finals. But they have a great young squad that can put an end to their abysmal streak. With the young talent roster including Paolo Banchero, Cole Anthony, and Jalen Suggs, the Magic currently stand 43-31, their best since 2010-11’s 52-30. With that, the Magic seem to be treading on a promising path. With only 8 games remaining in the regular season, how far do you think the Orlando Magic can go this season?
