Injuries have been a major concern for the Clippers for long. It continues to bother them throughout, making players miss vital matches. Thus, the management is focused on the overall health of the players more than ever. Kawhi Leonard tore the meniscus in the same knee where he underwent a ligament tear a couple of years back. Paul George too missed the last four games of the previous season. Keeping these two injury-prone aces fit might have been quite challenging for the team.
Wonder where Leonard and George stand in the coming season? Are they injured from the start or things are different this time?

The duo of Kawhi and Paul is a delight to fans. Not only in court, we have seen instances of them bonding off-court as well. In a recent video, we saw them face off in golf practice. If they remain fit the entire season, the Clippers will significantly be in the title race.
Filling Mann’s Void
Terance Mann who averaged 8.8 points per game last season will play a key role in this season as well. The shooting guard’s void is surely to be felt in the season opener. As stated by coach Tyronn Lue, the 6’5 youngster sprained his ankle while landing on his teammate during a practice session.

Kawhi told in a recent interview that this year the Clippers training camp was better than the last. ?Just feeling a lot better than I was coming into training camp last year just brings a better energy, just me just overall feeling better and trusting myself and I?m able to show it more than say it now,? he said.

Kawhi further added that Paul George brings that extra energy to the team, which eventually helped them all. ?And as well as PG just showing us that he?s bringing that energy and intensity while we?re at practice, as well. I think that?s helped.?
