The addition of former Boston Celtics CEO Danny Ainge to the front office of the Utah Jazz caused a bit of a shuffle. This single move led to a lot of meltdowns close to the 2021-22 regular season and a second straight postseason collapse.
Somehow, these changes seem irrevocable for the franchise. The trade between Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell further strained their relationship. But now the two have forged some friendship ties courtesy to an eleven billion dollar industry.

Most cards on the market are facing a showdown these days. However, the new 3D card by Donovan Mitchell is gaining steam, especially in the past few days. The shooting guard of the Cleveland Cavaliers is getting a hold of the game after his recent split from the Utah Jazz.
With the split came a controversial relationship with Rudy Gobert. However, it was just a little while ago that Rudy and Mitchell were flaunting their cordial friendship while in Utah. The relationship between the two has been severely fractured since COVID approached.
After picketing at each other for the entire last season, Rudy Gobert has out of nowhere shown some support for the ex-teammate on the release of his new NBA card.
Whatever the stance, the star player of the Minnesota Timberwolves, with an average of 13.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and a 65.9% FG%, once had a major beef with Donovan.
The Long-Dragged Beef: Covid Negligence?
Rudy Gobert casually touched all the microphones during a press conference, underestimating the health hazards caused by the virus.. The center player was trying to mock the stringent measures taken due to a nominal virus, only to turn in sick days later. On further examination, he tested positive for COVID-19.
Then, some days later, Mitchel also got infected and tested positive. While the players were blaming each other, their performances were under speculation on the world stage.

Although the partnership took a hit because of this, the players stood back up. In today?s match between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic, Donovan Mitchell scored nine points in 29 minutes on the hardwood. Somehow, the trades have worked their magic. Cleveland is now the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference at 51-31, while the Timberwolves are the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference with a 16-15 record.
