The Warriors are just coming off what should have been a certain victory over the Nuggets but ended in a loss. Though the Golden State looks like they have the upper hand over the Pistons, their veteran All-Star, Chris Paul, had to leave in the third quarter. Walking away with an obvious discomfort in his hand, the Dubs have yet to reveal an update on his return.

But the abrupt departure has got the Dub Nation going on a rant. Taking to X (Twitter) to record their disappointment, a fan made a rhetorical statement. “Chris Paul’s annual hand injury, I guess.”

Another fan seemed to be happy with the new development until he remembered another possible Kerr move.

Another LeBron James-Ja Morant fan concludes his reaction in two words. “Thank goodness.”

Yet another James supporter outscored the above guy, concluding his reaction in just three letters.

We have got two Moses Moody fans coming up next. This Warriors fan pretty much just gives a straight order to play Moody.

Another “positive vibes” Dub Nation lover isn’t exuding so much positivity as he almost scream-writes his frustration for not getting Moses on the court.

It looks like Chris Paul will indeed be missing the next few games. As reported by ESPN’s Kendra Andrews, CP3 has a fractured left hand and will be undergoing surgery next week. Usually, a fracture that does not require surgery will take four to eight weeks to completely heal. So it’s a given that Paul’s hand will take even longer.

The absence of Chris Paul only adds to the Dubs’ struggles

When the 12x All-Star joined the Golden State, Kerr tried him along with the starters. Seeing that it did not provide the necessary results, the “Point God” was given control of the bench. A veteran guard, the Warriors’ bench unit thrived under his leadership.

On many occasions, we have seen the bench unit take control and change the course of the game. The 38-year-old 2005 draft pick is yet to win an NBA title, and he had made his hopes of acquiring one with the GSW. He also affirmed that he was willing to do anything to achieve that goal. This is what must have been going through Coach Kerr’s mind when he talked about the Chris Paul situation post-game.

” I feel so bad for Chris, I know he’s had a couple of hand surgeries before … I saw him holding it and instantly was worried,” Kerr said. With Paul’s veteran presence on-court providing a much-needed relief for Stephen Curry, especially in the absence of Draymond Green, the following days will see Steph with increased load.
