After Alexander announced that he was expecting a son with his partner, Hailey Summers, many stars congratulated him. The list included the former teammate, mentor of Alexander and Golden State Warriors star Chris Paul. So did Spencer Dinwiddie of the Brooklyn Nets. And Holmgren posted “Shai 2.0 coming soon.”

After winning the Rookie of the month title, Holmgren appeared on the Instagram live with Jalen William’s. The two discussed a host of issues. When the conversation moved towards Alexander expecting a baby, Jalen told him that Alexander should name his kid with some variation of Poku’s name. Chet came up with a hilarious one modeled on the name of Serbian star Aleksej Pokuševski. Chet Holmgren suggested “Shai-sev-ski”.

Whether the baby of Alexander will like the name or not, the pair of Alexander-Holmgren is feared by the opponents and admired by the Thunders including Alexander himself.

Chet Holmgren and Alexander — the deadly duo

Chet Holmgren’s first season was spoiled due to the foot injury. This season he thundered for the Thunders, acting as arsenal in defense and offense like a double-edged sword.

On the other hand, Alexander has been among the top scorers in the league. He perfectly paired with the Rookie as he had predicted. Alexander had said about the pair, “It’s gonna be very fun. We both have weapons we can add and make each other’s games easier. The more we get better at it, the faster we get better at it, the better the team will be.”
