LeBron James changed basketball history forever when he joined the Miami Heat back in 2010. Despite the hate, he achieved what he had set out for, to win an NBA title. He couldn’t have achieved his dreams without the help of his trusted floor general, Dwyane Wade. From setting up perfect alley-oops to helping James win back-to-back NBA titles, Wade was beside King James during the entirety of his time in Miami.
Now that Wade and other NBA legends like Dirk Nowitzki have entered the NBA Hall of Fame, the Lakers superstar took to Instagram to pen down an emotional message for his friend.

There was never any doubt that Wade would join the Naismith Hall of Fame one day. After all, he has 3 NBA titles, 13 All-Star selections, and many other accolades to his name.
A few hours ago, he achieved that dream of his along with Nowitzki, Tony Parker, and Pau Gasol. Legendary San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and his coaching mentee Becky Hammon also headlined the 2023 NBA Hall of Fame class.
With the whole NBA world giving their flowers for the inductees, LeBron James took to Instagram to pen down an emotional message for his long-time friend.

“Today is the official day my brother @dwyanewade goes into the HOF!!!!! WOW WOW WOW bro!! Man I can’t say enough how proud and happy I am of/for you. The kid from Robbins, IL now in the HALL!!! You a bad man Trey Ball! SCREAMING 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️CONGRATULATIONS ⚡️. Love you kid!!”, wrote James on Instagram.
He shared a picture of his former teammate proudly showing off his Hall of Fame jersey with the number 23. Interestingly, James will be sporting this number for the Lakers this season after the NBA retired the #6 jersey to honor the late Bill Russell.
Wade revealed his favorite NBA title during his speech
DWade has two NBA titles playing alongside LeBron. However, it seems like he prefers his first NBA title in 2006 when he played with fellow Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal.

“2006. It’s the first and individually I had a lot to do with it”, replied Wade when asked about his favorite NBA title. This was Heat’s first-ever title as well!
The Heat faced off against Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals. 24-year-old Wade averaged 34.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists to win his first-ever NBA title. He rightfully took home the Finals MVP award.
