The MSG Sphere opened on September 29th with a concert by the Irish rock band U2. Following the concert, the visuals from inside the sphere started pouring in and they were mesmerizing, to say the least. Can LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal make the Sphere their home ground?

With Shaq and LeBron inching closer to owning an NBA team, that too in Vegas, the Sphere seems to be the perfect spot to call their home. The Sphere is designed to host award shows, concerts, and even private shows. However, for those wondering, it might not be possible as the place cannot fit a traditional arena inside, fit to host an NBA game. While there are enough facilities to host a UFC card or even a boxing bout, putting up an NBA hardwood might not be possible for the multi-billion dollar project.
