The Milwaukee Bucks drafted Giannis Antetokounmpo as the 15th select in 2013. It is mind-boggling that a champion and MVP-level player like him wasn?t even a lottery pick. It is also a testament to how he has worked his way up from scratch after entering as an unknown entity. Through this process of hard work, he has built deep relationships with many who have played for the Bucks.?

Therefore, when one of his teammates has a big day, he registers his presence

Over the years, the Forward has played with many impressive teammates. In the past, Eric Bledsoe helped him keep the Bucks relevant. However, he struggled in postseason windows, which is why the team brought in Jrue Holiday in exchange for Bledsoe.

Khris Middleton has been his longest-term teammate and has been here since his rookie year. Then there is Brook Lopez, who has been his teammate for five seasons now and was a crucial part of the 2021 championship. The Center decided to get married a few days ago and his frontline teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo showed up during the big party.

In a photo posted by an X (Twitter) user blange00, they are embracing each other.

The terrific defender decided to tie the knot with long-time girlfriend Hailee Strickland. He had proposed to her in August 2022, during their trip to Disney World. The seven-foot-one-inch Center got down on his knees and offered Strickland a ring. The two are now happily married.

This marks another special moment this year for Lopez. He recently signed a hefty two-year $48 million contract with the Bucks.

He was on a tear during the 2022-23 season. After leaving the Nets, his scoring dipped from 20 points to below 13 for most parts. However, last season, the 35-year-old dropped almost 16 points and a career-high 2.5 blocks per game. He really had a great turnaround and showed that at his age, he has stayed in shape.

Will Lopez replicate last season?s greatness?

Most impressively, the Center was able to get in the All-Defensive First Team for the first time in his career. He had made the All-Defensive Second Team in 2020 with the Bucks. Apart from that, his tremendous play carried over to the postseason. In a disappointing five-game series loss to the Heat, he averaged 19 points on a stellar 58.2%. These returns signify that the former Nets star is far from done.

He is definitely one of the best role players in the league, but he can face a hiccup in his journey to a second championship. His MVP teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo didn?t showcase a desire to sign an extension and can exit the Bucks if they fall short of expectations again.
