According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, there are two teams that he knows of who are willing to sign Bronny James so that they could acquire LeBron James. He even claimed that those teams are confident that the Akron Hammer will sign with them below the value of his current contract saying, “I know of at least two teams on the NBA map that believe LeBron James would consider signing with them at far less than $51.4 million if Bronny James is on the roster. There might be more.”

The thought of LeBron James joining the club that picks his kid adds a fascinating twist to their interwoven basketball stories. With James entering his 22nd season in the NBA, the prospect of father and son wearing the same uniform becomes a greater possibility.

And Bron’s public desire to play with his kid has raised its appeal even further, especially because his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers is about to expire, coinciding with Bronny’s NBA eligibility.
