Ayesha Curry Pregnancy: Unlike Husband Steph, Mother of 3 Had Media Fooled in Public Appearance

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has lived as a fan favorite amongst NBA followers for quite some time now. Over time, however, much of the attention and following started to rub off on the player’s charismatic wife, Ayesha. Having been together for over 16 years now, Stephen and Ayesha have established themselves as a prominent ‘power couple’ amongst the NBA fraternity. This is probably the reason why when the mother of 3 took to social media to make her pregnancy announcement, it drew reactions from all sides of the world.

Both Stephen and Ayesha announced on social media by revealing the cover of the latest edition of the latter’s lifestyle magazine ‘Sweet July’. In the picture dominating the same, fans can notice how far along Ayesha has reached in her pregnancy journey. To add to context, Ayesha has been pretty social all this while, attending many events, even the All-Star weekend just 2 weeks ago, nowhere close to looking like she is expecting. So, her pregnancy announcement did come as a big shocker for the entire world. One particular fan expressed their amazement by taking to social media to make the same feeling be felt by the rest of the world.

X user, ‘Nọ́lá Thee Journalist’ uploaded a video on her feed, featuring a video of Ayesha Curry making an appearance at the Hearst’s ‘Celebrate Black’ event hosted by Gayle King. And unlike her ‘Sweet July’ pictures, her baby bump in the video is hardly visible, even as she sat down for the interview. FYI: This interview happened 2 weeks ago, adding to the shocker people are facing at the moment.

The X user also couldn’t help but be impressed at how convincingly the 34-year-old managed to hide her pregnancy from the rest of the world. “Sometimes I have to applaud how stars can keep a pregnancy under wraps”. Further adding, “No wonder she was glowing!!!” 

But as careful as Ayesha has been, Stephen Curry hasn’t been the same. In fact, he was about to expose their secret during the All-Star weekend.

Stephen Curry ‘almost’ spilled the beans on Ayesha’s pregnancy

Stephen Curry was magnanimous during the All-Star Weekend, gaining recognition and accolades, especially for the Steph vs Sabrina 3-pointer contest. But that’s not what we are concerned about. It was around this time that Steph almost let out his and his wife’s secret during an after-party. Curry proceeded to make a speech, and while he was busy thanking people and showering love upon them, in his inner circle, he uttered the following words: “To my family, that’s continuing to grow”.

Luckily for the four-time NBA champion, no one in the audience went too deep into interpreting his words. If they had, however, then it would have definitely ruined the big surprise!
