The Los Angeles Lakers lost their fourth match this season against the Miami Heat led by Jimmy Butler. LeBron James, even at 38, proves why he is still the most reliable warrior in the Lakers side.

Bron was the highest scorer in the match with 30 points, coupled with 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. In a marginal loss against his former team, he played exceptionally well and proved yet again what he was made of. The Heat, on the other hand, kept firing on all cylinders. Jimmy Butler, along with Bam Adebayo, and Tyler Herro orchestrated the Heat’s win. The final scoreline stood at 108-107.

However, the match results could have been different. It was in the very last second that the Lakers could have emerged victorious. How did the Heat prevent that? Well, they did not. It was someone from the Lakers’ end who could not throw it in.

LeBron James’ massive gesture

LeBron passed the ball to forward Cam Reddish in the very last second, and he failed to score. The buzzer went off, and the Heat were declared winners by one point. Even though there was disappointment in the Lakers’ end, they managed to stay calm.

Lakers star guard Austin Reaves opened up, revealing their team’s inside happenings. According to an X (formerly Twitter) post by the Lakers Daily, AR-15 mentioned that as soon as Bron walked into the locker room, he made Reddish feel easy. He went out to him and motivated him and even assured him that they would again give the ball to him in that position.

“As soon as [LeBron] walked into the locker room, he went to Cam and said, ‘Nah, that’s a good shot. Situation happens like that again, we’re gonna give it right back to you and knock it down,'” said Reaves. He added, “That’s major, happened to me in the past with Bron.”?Indeed, a massive gesture from arguably one of the best players to play the game.

Fans are reportedly unhappy

Fans took to their social media handles and trolled the Lakers’ players. In the same post, they went on digging at their favorite players.

A fan commented, “Lebron always [too] scared to take the final shot”

Another fan wrote, “Cam Shouldn?t have been in the game at that point. We needed offense. Get Christie out there. Awful call by Ham.”

Another hilarious comment stated, “Hear me out. What if the play worked because the heat wanted Cam to shoot? They were defending 5 on 4 and not even guarding Cam.”
