He also teamed up with the other half of The Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson, to take on NFL legends Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in a charity golf match. Everyone expected the Splash Brothers to take the trophy home, but Mahomes and Kelce upset the Warriors’ duo with a dominant victory in Tahoe.

With Austin Reaves’ passion for golf, he believes he could have helped Chef Curry win the match against the NFL Legends. When the reporter recently asked the Lakers guard if he had talked to Steve Kerr about issuing a golfing challenge against Steph, he replied, “No, we talked about me just playing in the Tahoe event.” Reaves further talked about Klay Thompson’s disappointing performance in the charity match, “I told him, no disrespect to Klay, I actually, personally, like Klay and love his game, but when they had that match, Steph could’ve used a little more help.”
