The Golden State Warriors might have to face their most horrific nightmare. Fighting in the clutch against the Chicago Bulls, a game the Bay lost, Stephen Curry seemed in some discomfort. While driving to the basket, Chef Curry landed awkwardly on his right ankle, twisting it in the process. After passing the ball out, he came up wincing in pain but still showed strength to jog back on defense. However, the indication was evident.
He was immediately assisted to the locker room as Chris Paul was called upon by Steve Kerr. The Warriors would lose due to the lack of a scoring threat matching the magnitude of Curry who has been especially incredible in clutch situations, averaging 4.9 points, the most in the NBA. Bulls’ midrange assassin, DeMar DeRozan stood unopposed as a result and sealed the win for his side.
The Warriors would wallow in the loss, but not just over the result of the game The franchise could be looking at their best player, the foundation of their hopes miss time during the twilight of the regular season. According to medical experts, the worst outcome would be a fracture, which would mean Curry misses a significant portion of the remainder of the season.

Despite the unfortunate turn of events, it seems the Warriors veterans are unfazed.
Draymond Green and Klay are confident playing without Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry is the focal point of the entire Golden State Warriors. The franchise relies on him to generate a rhythm. His momentum is contagious and dictates how the Warriors play most of the time. He has produced miracles this season, and truth be told, was the only man you could envision to rescue the Warriors from their tricky position as the ninth seed in the West.
After rolling his ankle, those hopes hang in suspension. There is no official update on Curry yet. The 35-year-old was reportedly icing his ankle and had a brace on. Yet his most promising and trusted allies, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson projected they might be playing a portion of their games without the Baby Face Assassin.
“Icing his ankle. I know we’re going to miss him … if he does have time off. We’ve been in this position before where he has had time off and we have to do it collectively. I know he’ll be ready to go when he does come back,” said Thompson according to The Athletic.
Green, the spokesperson and leader of the Warriors expressed concern but wasn’t shaken up. He had an alternative plan devised to counteract the loss of Stephen Curry – relying on the ‘Point God’.

“No one is Steph Curry. That definitely will change things. But we know the sets that we like to get to with Chris in the game and what he is great at. We will do more of what he is great at,” said the former DPOY.
Paul missed 21 games with a broken hand before returning late in February. Since coming back, he has looked rejuvenated, especially in terms of his shooting. In the six games, CP3 has shot 42% from three, up 6% pre-injury. Moreover, he also looks to be hunting for his shots and being an anchor for his teammates.
While he can’t substitute the riveting impact Stephen Curry has on the Warriors, Paul surely holds the key to bringing stability in such times of peril. It’s vital for the Bay to remain level-headed and conjure an encouraging mindset if Curry does have to miss time. In the three games he has missed, the Warriors are yet to register a victory.
