Wemby is setting his sights on the 2024 Paris Olympics. The San Antonio Spurs rookie has confirmed his commitment to France?s national squad at the Summer Games next year in his home country. Wembanyama?s statement was clear and confident: ?I will be present at the Olympics and there is no other goal than gold?.?

He has been a dominant player for the French national team. Victor helped France win the gold medal at the 2023 FIBA Euro basket tournament, averaging 17.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game. He was also named the MVP of the tournament.?
LeBron?s ‘Last Dance’ dream
LeBron James has been dropping hints about a possible ?last dance? with Stephen Curry ever since an embarrassing defeat of the team USA. He has expressed interest in playing in the 2024 Paris Olympics, which would be his fifth and possibly final Olympic appearance. He has won two Olympic gold medals, in 2008 and 2012 and he is eyeing for another one with some of the best in the NBA.?
